November 2nd I flew to Manchester and got a rental car and drove to Snowdon 1085 m in Wales. I got there by the afternoon and the whole parking lot was filled with cars. I did not expect so many other people around since it was november! But there was some kind of holiday or something so there was a lot of people.
I really enjoyed the beautiful landscape during this climb. Totally amazing! I wish I had more time to spend here.
I was late as always. Almost everyone else was on the way down already but a few were still going up and because of the heavy traffic on the mountain I started to race the others. Trying to catch up on them. I remember feeling strong this day, just flying up and down the mountain in under 3 hours in total.
It´s a very easy hiking path to the top. In the end it get a little bit steeper but it was never too hard. A nice sunday walk for the family and your dog.
Up on the top there was fog. This was a common thing for all the mountain in UK and Ireland in the late fall when I climbed them. And a little bit more cold and windy.
On the summit there is this rock thing.
Summit selfie!
A very nice mountain to climb and a beautiful area to go for hiking and photography. After climbing the mountain I drove back to Manchester to spend the night. Scarfell Pike in England was waiting for me the next day and that got a little bit more adventurous then expected…

Wonderful stories, thank you for sharing! If you don’t mind me asking, what lenses do you reach for most often when you’re on the mountains?
Hi! I mostly used a small camera Canon M50 with a standard kit lens for these photos!
