I arrived to Dublin and drove up to Northen Ireland to climb Slieve Donard 850 m. I was late as usual. But it would be a pretty fast climb so I was not too worried about it. It started in a small forest and I walked along a small river.
When you got out from the forest this was the view. I met some other people on the way down. They always look so suspicious at me when I´m going up when everyone else is going down. One lady was worried with me just having a thin base layer top but I told her I had two jackets in my backpack so I would be fine. She said it was very windy at the top.
At one point you come to this and just follow it up to the top! And here was where the wind started. She was right. It was very windy. Sometimes I almost got swept away.
Summit!
Beautiful views! Sun just started to setting and I had to walk down the last part in the dark. When I got back to the parking lot a lot of teenagers was hanging out there, having a party in the cars.
Summit selfie! When I was back down I drove to Dublin to have dinner with one of my best friends and after that I started driving towards Irelands highest mountain.
